There are numerous reasons to like cooking. I boil (pun intended) my favorites all the way down to four, all beginning with F:

1. Fun: Cooking is not only something that we have got to do as a way to eat every day. It may be fun too! Consider if you bake a cake, who doesn’t like to lick the frosting off the bowl? Or if you find yourself mixing each of the ingredients together to make cookies, choosing whether to place chocolate chips, raisins, almonds, walnuts, coconut, dried cranberries, or M&M’s into the bowl. There are endless opportunities to celebrate if you are cooking…and you then get to eat!
