As if I didn’t have my Good Eats project going on, I’ve decided to work on another food project - a recipe project.
My recipe project is going to be integrated into this site, and I’m planning some pretty innovative way to find things. I’m currently designing the database, and coming up with a couple pages to manage all of the recipes. I also plan on tagging the recipes, allowing people to vote, comment, and even help out by submitting their own recipes. It’ll be pretty neat.

For anyone who knows me, they know I’m a totally wacko obsessive Good Eats fan. I think I have all of them that have ever aired more than once taped. I’m missing one or two here and there, but my collection is still growing. In fact, I actually went through, and re-recorded a bunch of them just so I could have a better quality recording. This sort of stuff take years to do, since there are 11 seasons of the show.
So, what’s the project about? Well, actually, it’s about writing out an episode list, making synopsys’, and putting together recipes. The episode list won’t be very hard since my library is mostly in the right order as it is. The more difficult thing, however, will be the recipes and the episode summaries. *sigh* If only I had more time. And no, I’m not Marty, I don’t have a time machine :-\
